Investment Policy
DWM is focused on helping to maximize each individual's long-term investment potential.
We do not invest on emotion. We do not buy or sell because the market "seems right", is "too high", or is "too low". Our policy is to recommend a client buy and sell when it is right for the client with the idea that a good investment today will be a good investment tomorrow. Investment decisions are based on long term, fundamental analysis.
There are three reasons to sell an investment. (1) When an investment, such as a mutual fund, changes its stripes and no longer invests the way it did when you originally made the investment. (2) The economic environment changes, and you sell an asset in an area expected to under-perform. (3) Your personal objectives and tolerance for risk changes. The second factor may be what we are concerned with today, but the third reason "is" and should always be, the most important reason for making investment changes.
DWM`s recommendations will consist of various investments. These may include Mutual Funds, Variable Annuities, or other General Securities.
Investors should consider the investment objectives, risks and charges and expenses of the variable annuity carefully before investing. An investment in a variable annuity involves investment risk, including possible loss of principal. Variable annuities are designed for long-term investing. The contract, when redeemed, may be worth more or less than the total amount invested. Variable annuities are subject to insurance-related charges including mortality and expense charges, administrative fees, and the expenses associated with the underlying sub-accounts. The prospectus contains this and other information about the variable annuity. Contact Ronald Dison at 317-297-1722 to obtain a prospectus, which should be read carefully before investing or sending money.
Investing in mutual funds is subject to risk and loss of principal. There is no assurance or certainty that any investment strategy will be successful in meeting its objectives.
